Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 7:30 amβ3 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (727) 329-8698. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, flatbreadandbutter.com.

Very disappointing experience. The welcome was extremely poor. The staff looked at customers as if they were wondering why we were even there. Ordering was unnecessarily confusing because there were only two paper menus available at the counter. If the people in front of you were looking at the menu, you had no choice but to wait. The staff was rude and uninterested. I couldnβt find an Americano on the menu, so I asked if they could make one. Instead of a helpful response, I received a sarcastic answer: βOf course we have an espresso machine, we can make it.β When I politely asked if my muffin could be warmed up, I was immediately told βNo, we canβt do that,β with no explanation or attempt to accommodate the request. The restaurant was also not as clean as the photos make it appear. Several small flies were constantly flying around the tables, which raised concerns about cleanliness and made the dining experience unpleasant. The food quality was average at best, and the portions were surprisingly small. The $11 egg and cheese sandwich looked more like something from a kidsβ menu than a regular breakfast sandwich. Overall, this place offers poor value for money and falls well b

The matcha latte here is the best I have ever had! I stopped ordering these bc most places are so overloaded with sugar and syrup but this one was so good I felt compelled to leave a review! The staff is so so friendly and the space is adorable with a great view of the park. I also met a very cute puppy here which was a big plus in my book.

It's a cute little cafe on the north side of the park. I thought my picadillo (ground beef) burrito was decent but on the smaller side. A buddy got the acai bowl, but they were out of yogurt. Another buddy got the egg and cheese sandwich, also small. The egg was still frozen in the middle. My wife said her avocado toast was ok. I'm still giving the food a 3 star since my burrito was fine.

Definitely great quality food! I got a bagel sandwich stuffed with prosciutto, salami, cheese and other delicious items. It is tucked away in a little neighborhood in front of a quaint park. Good amount outdoor seating. The atmosphere was very cozy. Perfect for a weekend breakfast spot!

Loved the vibe hereπ₯° lots of young ppl studying or meeting, it feels alive but cozy. The smoked salmon bagel was amazing, while the avocado toast didnβt really stand out. Drinks are the real highlight: the espresso tonic instantly brought me back to the coffee flavors of Shanghai, which felt a bit emotional for me. The interior is stylish and thoughtful, and with a park right next door, itβs perfect for sitting outside or taking a walk after. Came here with my boyfriend and it turned into such a sweet, memorable date.
